This policy explains the data processing that may take place when visiting the website colettechopin.com in its current version.
At this preparatory stage, the website controller is the non-professional publisher of Colette Chopin, who can be contacted at contact@colettechopin.com. The legal information will be completed when the micro-enterprise is established.
The preview and private-collection forms allow visitors to ask to be contacted about a creation. They record the email address, relevant piece, requested size, optional version, language, source page and date of the request, without requesting a name.
The private-showroom form additionally collects a first name, preferred session, usual size, piece of interest, number of guests and, if the visitor chooses to provide it, a short message. This information is used only to prepare the meeting, confirm places and send the address to confirmed guests.
This information is neither an order nor a payment and does not automatically subscribe the person to a customer account. It is automatically deleted no later than twelve months after collection, unless deletion is requested earlier.
Your customer account uses your email and the information needed to manage orders, sign-in and benefits. Creating an account is not consent to marketing messages. Existing welcome codes and their usage history remain linked to your email.
Creating a new customer account and signing in grants a 10% welcome discount, automatically applied to the first order while the offer is active. No welcome code is created or entered. Previous unused welcome entitlements are retained, as is prior usage history. The ten new privilege codes provide a total 50% discount (10% account + 40% privilege), one use per code, through 31 October 2026 inclusive, Paris time. Applying a code replaces the automatic cart discount: a privilege code gives exactly 50% off in total. Ambassador codes give 20% through 31 October 2026, then 10%. Sign-in and the account email as the billing email are required for these benefits.
Historic subscription records remain subject to the existing retention rules to handle requests and coupon history. The subscription form has been removed.
To operate the programme, the site uses the customer account, cumulative spending, Ambassador status, assigned codes, reward balance and history, and orders associated with a voucher. This data is used to verify the €300 threshold, prevent self-referral, credit 10% of the eligible net merchandise amount and correct the balance after a full refund.
If you choose to write to contact@colettechopin.com, the information you voluntarily provide is used solely to read your message, reply to you and follow up on the exchange. It is not sold to third parties.
As with any website, hosting may generate technical logs required for operation, security and service diagnostics (for example IP address, date and time of connection or requested resource). Hosting is provided by OVH SAS.
The website uses an internal audience-measurement system hosted on the same domain. It records aggregate page views and a small number of events used to improve the website (for example an email-link click, language change, product-page selection or expression of interest). The module creates no analytics cookie, uses neither local storage nor a persistent identifier, and stores neither IP addresses nor user-agent strings in its analytics table.
The aggregates contain only the day, page, language, broad device category, referring domain and event type. They are kept for thirteen months and then deleted automatically. OVH technical server logs remain separate from this internal measurement.
The private area uses a technical session to verify that a visitor has entered the password correctly. This session is necessary for the protected access to function and is not used for advertising purposes.
The website currently loads fonts via Google Fonts. When these resources are loaded, technical data such as the IP address may be transmitted to Google’s servers. No Google Analytics tool is installed in this version of the website.
For any question about your data, or to request access to, rectification or deletion of your information, you can write to contact@colettechopin.com.
When online sales are enabled, WooCommerce will process the information needed to manage the cart, order, delivery and customer service. WooPayments will process payment information through its payment infrastructure. Colette Chopin does not need to receive or store the full card number.
